 I have this tree that has these flowers. I have NO idea what type of tree it is, but I love these flowers. There will be another shot when a bloom is turned the other way, and closer to my patio. I would very much prefer to be much closer, so maybe later this month I'll get that. I personally am in love with the DOF. It feels painted.

It's good there is that touch of yellow in the flower -- it really provides a focal point. I like this fine, but wonder if you could get closer, too.

Very unusual blossom, the good DoF really keeps it from getting lost in the sea of green.

the bloom is soo pretty-nevver saw one of these..
very pretty DOF~it sure feels like SPRING! (Summer!!)

It's a poplar tree. We have them all over up here and my mother used a LOT of the wood from these trees in her kitchen. They are lovely trees.

I really love your DOF too. That bokeh is quite something to behold.

I agree, the DOF is very good and almost painting like. I would have liked to see a bit more contrast within the foreground, but that is just my personal preference. Nice job!!!
