 A month of shoehorns, Day #2

Rex receives a shoehorn for his 65 millionth birthday.

I need to work on lighting. Tabletop photography is usually flexible for me as I can use long shutter speeds, but this was trickier, as someone had to hold their hand steady within the hand puppet.Tried it myself, but could not operate the camera and puppet effectively, so I had my daughter do the honors.

lol your thumbnail grabbed my attention. I actually skipped a couple of photos because I had to see what this one was about. As far as table top photography goes, the more you do it, the more ways you find to improvise. Currently my studio is my flat stop stove in the kitchen. So I would have put this puppet over a bottle lol and figured out the rest from there. I don't have that kind of help. So they did a good job for you here. I love this photo - the face just makes me laugh. And the colors are wonderful.

All I can think about is his teeth - wouldn't have known him to be shoeless/footless except from your notes.

Excellent shot and perspective. A sheet of wax paper between the light and subject is suppose to be a nice cheap diffuser i've heard, might want to give that a try. Brought a smile to my face.

This made me smile. I especially love the "in ya face" persepctive. I agree with the lighting comments too just a tad too harsh.
