 This is Þór, bodypainted by Henný. I have photographed Þór several times before this but none of that has been for DPC, there is one shot of him in my portfolio though, he was a model for the 4th week in my PAW last year. He´s also Spiderman in our superhero/bodypaint series wich I have already shot but not been able to process yet, that whole series is on Flickr for those interested.

This is only the third photo this year I specifically shot for DPC, I really need to get off my ass and take more shot´s for challenges.

I got the idea right away after seeing the challenge theme so I shot it on a tuesday, I usually shoot the last day or the day before that so I was unusually prompt this time. The skull is doctored after the skull shape The Punisher has on his chest.

As for post processing, darkened the skin and Þór is actually b/w so no skintones would leak through. I then used curves to get the slight blue/green hue on him and then sharpened after resizing and added the border.

It's rather nice this. I did think of you when I saw it but it didn't sway my vote, still got a solid vote from me. Enjoying that horrid 50mm f1.2 then?

I gotta say this... I don't hand out tens unless an image deserves it. AND even when I do give them I usually comment on how I would have done something to improve the shot.... in this case I wouldn't change a thing. In my books flawless. Pat yourself on the back!
