Lots of lovely depth to this.

i'd like to see it with a little less light in the bottom right and a touch more in the center nice though

I really like this photo...except for the bottom right portion. I guess I just wish that the neat texturing would extend throughout the whole frame.

The petals have this nice crepe paper look to them. The vibrant color is also quite appealing.

I must have missed this one yesterday...beautiful, a little contrasty, but some really wonderful textures!

Very cool. Like the fall from upper left to lower right of dark to bright.

Fabulous detail and I love the grainy look. You're using your new toys well! :P

I like the boldness and especially the black center of the flower as the focal point.

Nice colors and texture; it looks almost like a painting.

That is SO VERY INTERESTING to look at. I didn't know that poppy stamen was black... I suppose I should have figured... ala poppyseeds LOL! It's just, the way it has dusted the inside of that flower is beautiful.

Wow - what a dramatic flower shot! Very beautiful and striking with the extreme light and dark areas and your crop is awesome.

Great lighting and textures!

Ooooh, is this a poppy? A very artistic photo.

Sweet and bold - I like how the light just touches the tips of the thingies in the middle (highly technical term, "thingies", you know.)
