Thank you for the votes, especially the two 10s, and for the comments. These are the flowers of the Jack in the Pulpit, growing in a little man-made bog at the botanical garden. I used an umbrella for the BG. In PP I used NR, auto-adjust color, contrast, & levels, USM, tone-mapping, & a curves adjustment layer. The petals are really this color. Here they are, a few weeks later.

why save at 640pixels when you had 720 to use???would have made a better image...it's OK, but doesn't really have a wow factor
