Messing around with the Lensbaby on my deck to get the hang of it back and caught this guy running across the yard. Thankfully he paused a moment to get this shot. Snapped off about a dozen frames, got about two that had the rabbit in enough focus to be usable.

One picture in and I've already added the Lensbaby to my wishlist.

The most interesting aspect of this photo is that it almost looks like it is a miniature reproduction with a zoom induced blur added into the photo. What is the distance on this shot? Elevated on a deck or just standing around? I honestly can't get over how "miniature" this photo looks... like the scene could be a built/prepared scene in your basement on a gigantic table or something. It also seems reminiscent of the Photoshop method of making normal photos seem like miniature reproductions, so maybe it is slightly because of that, but either way, it's pretty wild looking!

Whoa, this image makes me dizzy, too. It's actually uncomfortable to look at, unless I keep my eye fixed on the bunny. Good start.

You're gonna have such fun! Glad he held still for you - looks just a bit panicked. Maybe he'll get used to you and that big black object in your hands and be a mdoel for the month! The lensbaby action here really intensifies that "panicked" or trapped look. Works quite well in this instance.

Sweet. Looks like the bun just manifested from another dimension.

Wow, I'm glad you didn't post this last night after I'd been drinking! There is so much movement from the blur, I had to plant my feet on the ground! Love it! :)

Lensbabies seem like they could be difficult to use...this could be an interesting month for you. As small as the bunny is, he stands out nicely against those brilliant greens.

So, did the bunny throw up after this shot? :P I look forward to seeing how you use this. You might get an interesting false motion blur effect with some of that Chicago traffic.

Oh it should be fun to see your photos! I don't have a lensbaby but I've thought it would be very cool to have.
