 The last shot of the baby bird, peering at me through one eye. He had huge feet for his body size and all that wonderful fuzz on his head ... such a cutie. I was tempted to drive back to the park the next morning to see if he was still there, but if he was gone I would never have known if it was because he grew out a few more feathers and flew to a perch of his choosing or whether something less cheery happened.
