 *sniff, sniff* Even I'm getting teary-eyed! The only boat-shaped item I had in the house was a fridge magnet...that and the set from Homemade Landscapes, Cows at the Beach. After some cursing and playing around with lighting (1 60w light mounted up to the left, no diffuser) I broke out 'Ol Faithful, the Canon, and left rip for a good 60 frames til I got just the right light, angle and as much emotion as you can wring from a 3-D cow sticker.

pp: rotate, smudge, crop, shadow/highight, curves, brightness/contrast, hue/saturation/lightness 2x, resize, usm 2x, healing tool, save for web

The sore thumb of the challenge, no doubt. Great idea, nicely set up, fine lighting, in harmony with the title. Why not? But the moon is a very pale blue...;)

oooh! what a pitifully (is this the right word?) little cow!
Will give it some points extra, with it become optimism, can drive proudly in its little boat over the big sea, finding a little nice island, where another pitifully cow is waiting for a new big love... :-)
