With the reflection of the trees, I thought this was real.

I thought this was one of the most creative/interesting shots in the challenge. I hoped it would finish much better than it did.

At first glance I thought it was an overhead shot of a boat in a coral lagoon. Very creative.

Very cool... I did not guess this was an underwater shot! So clever!

what an interesting, and well executed image. will it sound self-serving to say i saw what you did almost immediately? however, what you did was superb. the illusions created by the pool deck above water put the boat in a world of its own, a tiny little globe of water. o, and those colours... yes. o yes.

Oh wow I would have never guessed you shot this from under water! How very cool.

I've commented on every other image in this challenge and have saved this one for last. It simply fascinates me.

At first glance it looks like a toy in a swimming pool, but then I notice the trees and a lamp post? in the reflection suggesting a real boat. If it is real, how to achieve the effect – a fisheye looking down? But then how to keep yourself out of the frame.

Further review I notice WB seems different on the from & back of the boat, auggesting mixed light and a toy of some sort.

Then there’s the title – Upside Down adds to the puzzlement.

An overhead shot of a boat with mixed WB and looks like it could be a toy would not get a good score from me. The reflections keep me coming back again and again. Anything that makes the viewer spend time on it deserves high marks. Well done. I just hope the speed voters just blow past this without giving it due consideration.

Tricky! I've been looking at it for quite a while now, and I think/guess/hope I know how you got there. Great idea, great colours, and - if you are so inclined - a picture that is impossible to pass with just a casual glance.

I'll wager this is shot underwater, looking up? Quite a nifty view!

good colors but I am confused by the title

Cool idea. However the blue surface is less interesting than the 4 corners and it dominates the scene. The boat is a little on the busy side with all the shapes and colors.

What is this little boat sitting on?

This is very cool. It's like the boat is on a water planet.
