This is another from the proposed Olympic site in London - see various previous entries. It was the obvious choice of location, and i really wanted to get away from the idea of crowds of people and motion blurring which i think will form the majority of the shots submitted.

It's not completely 'as found', in that I had to move the old vacuum cleaner to compose the shot - but the thing was there already, at least.

Some dodging and burning to add depth to the piles of rubbish - some of the dodges have gone a touch too far, if looked at at the right brightness - I think I'm depending on the dark standard to hide those, and anyway don't have time to correct it before deadline.

Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but I don't really get the point of this. Are you trying to say that junkyard is hopeless?
I like the foreground/background relationship going here.

A neglected corner of somebody's backyard? The black and w hite helps.

Looks like junk, but not very chaotic. I like the black and white though.

What a mess!Color photo would work better here because most of the objects are too dark and not enough contrast from the ground.7

I like the humour of this shot. Good composition, light, detail, textures, choice of b&w.
