 saw an interesting shadow while in a butterfly room at an amusement park. I find it kinda funny that while I have hundreds of beautiful butterflies flying around me, I notice a flower more than anything. btw I have quite a few butterfly shots but most don't look good in black and white.

nice study in contrast, although the highlights seem a bit blown out on the flower.

Best thing about photography is how you start noticing things that you never would have before. This might have more impact if you cropped it heavily, so the shadow gets more real estate in the overall picture. Good eye.
