 Unfortunately, the interior of the Neuschwanstein Castle is a "no camera" zone. The castle tour guide gave us one reason, our tour guide for the bus trip gave us another - the damage caused by flash when used by up to 5000 people a day, every day, to the paintings and fabrics. With over 11,000 visitors a day at peak season, one could see where this could be a problem. We were allowed to shoot out the windows, though. I was just a bit far back from the window, maybe...

The light is so beautiful. Very dreamy and airy. Love it.

Should be a no flash rule. At least they let you get this gem. Really shows some of the details inside the castle halls. Can you imagine living in a place like this??
