Just a 30 second exposure of the south side of my house on a perfectly still evening. I took about 100 or so shots of forest settings but liked this one more than all the rest. The moon was low in the south so I was unable to get any good patterns on the ground (horizontal surfaces) so tried the side of the house. ISO800, 30 second exposure, noise reduction on. Post processing curves, crop, noise ninja.

A creative alternative to dappled sunlight.

Great night shot. The beautiful sky is a great complement to the light and shadow on the house.

Are these shadows from moonshine? How did you know you could take a picture like that? I am blown away.

With the strong lighting, this shot has kind of a spooky feel to it. I don't know if that's what you were going for but, to me, it's very strong.

Definitely a different take. Most of the shots that really have good dappled light use sunlight. I like the fresh take on it.

Very nice photo. Good exposure and use of available moonlight to create the dapple effect on the house. I especially like the stars in the sky.

A nice take on the challenge, using moonlight and not sunlight. The deep blue sky works really well with the pale grey buiding. Nice.

Doesnt look like you spent much time on this at all ... dont really care for it

Very nice and good thinking with the moonlight. Maybe a little more off the top to emphasize the shadows and bring that front deck into play more - looks like a nice place to sit.
