 My first shot taken specifically for a challenge, I have to admit im not particularly fond of soft focus shots (and as such probably won't vote in this challenge), but I thought trying something that I wouldn't normally do might help further my photography.

Im submitting this last minute, as embarrassingly- I have only just figured out how to make it 'soft focus' as opposed to 'blurry as hell' ;)

Gaussian Blur (this time not at 100% opacity!)

i like this but maybe without the tree in the front it would be better

I like the use of the foreground tree, although a little too much negative space to the left of tree, IMO.

hmmmm.... I like the soft woods, but the foreground tree is really heavy.

this has no focal point, bu has rather nice dappled light.
