As with any portrait, we should take care about overblown highlights (the top of the hat) and unwanted shadows (the eye region). : ) 6

The light here is just a bit harsh, but you manage to bring out details very nicely. Interesting subject hoice, too.

Light looks harsh on the hat and part of the face. Sun can really wash shots out..maybe shoot at different time of the day.
