PP: USM, gradient map adj. layer (red, yellow, blue), b&w adj. layer, brightness & contrast adj. layer, noise reduction, curves, levels.
So many people liked the lighting on this. As you can see above, it was achieved in Photoshop. Actually the shot was taken in bright midday sun, and the sky was blown. I really didn't like the white sky and couldn't fix that in basic editing, so I started playing around with it. This is the result of happy experimenting -- all legal under basic editing rules. |

I love this! Love it! The angle, the processing which makes it look slightly fake but very cool and the Scientist is just the cherry on the cake for me, I'm faving it.

| Very effective lighting. I would have preferred not having the "SCIENTIST" as it distracts from the steeple. (I realize it was not possible to eliminate this in basic editing.) I think the tilting works well. |
