 This is my daughter, Christina, who has autism. We prayed for years that at least she'd have the ability to speak. Here she is "flying" as she and three other children performed the song "One Day We'll All Have Perfect Wings" with the River Dance Company during a Sunday morning worship service. Chrissy (as she prefers to be called) still has autism - there is no known cure, but she has come so far. She attends regular school, gives verbal reports in front of the class, learns the regular curriculum, and with the help of a full-time educational assistant (and lots of help from her mom), has been on the honor roll the last year and a half. We don't know what the future holds for her, but Chrissy - go get your wings.

I love this. The story to go with it touches my heart, as I'm also the mom of a child on the spectrum.

Looks like you were shooting at high ISO. Nice focus, but more noise reduction would have helped.

this is a bit grainy was that intended? actually i think it is too much sharpening?
