Note: just one of many types of Equisetum at least two of which grow hereabouts. (Never encountered them in the East). Will try to post the non spore bugger, in colour. |

what an unusual and interesting plant - i don't recall ever seeing these before
the b/w really works here - with the background contrasting nicely against the vertical plants |

I think I like the sepia better, but the rest of the processing is nice. I have never seen or heard of these things, and found your comments quite interesting.
P.S. I also made note of your style of shooting a low subject without lying on the ground. Good trick to remember.
