Great job on the pp, you really pulled out the rich colours of spring! I'm not sure about the perspective, it almost has a peeping tom feel to me, like you're hiding behind the bushes and snapping pics. Then again if that was your point, then it would be funny! |

The HDR worked quite well, but I'd like to see a little more shadow in that doorway for contrast. |

So, how many times have people rearranged the letters in Maroons...
I like the processing and the un-processed comparison side by side. It is funny how much more punch you can get out of photoshop.
The sky looks just a bit muddy in the shot from a texture standpoint but the rest of the image is nice and vibrant and pretty sharp as well.
Post comment note: I am originally from Illinois and always love to see spots from home. We have really good friends that live in Elgin - a nice community.
