Not an easy capture, I suspect :) It could use more sharpness in the entire face, but that would probably be hard! |

Rocky's nose, distal fur, and right front paw are out of focus - one body part is ok to sudgest a depth of field, two maybe if the subject is exceptional - three is a problem. You can fix this in the future by selecting a higher f-stop and using a higher ISO setting at the same time. If applied in this case the nose and distal fur would have been sharper and the out of focus paw would have been fine Rocky is still an excellent subject and oveall, not a bad picture at all. Rated 7. Hope this helps. |

The only thing that looks in focus is the hair just below his nose. Pity, because it's an interesting shot. |

Slightly missed the focus on this one...think it would've drawn the viewer in more with the focus on the nose and eye instead of the arm. Good capture however, and nice composotion, maybe wou'dve also like to see a bit more of it's forehead. 7 |
