 It never snows in Portsmouth so to wake up to some pretty thick stuff in April was something of a surprise! I've always wanted to see a beach covered in snow so I walked down with my 350D to get a few shots. This is mostly edited within Basic rules - conversion in Channel Mixer, levels layer, cloned out a couple of distracting seagulls and the odd snowflake on the lens, USM and finally a wee bit of dodge and burn.

Outtake for Free Study. I know this would have scored better than what I'm going to enter!

I like this but you certainly went with the right choice for the free study! I remember this Sunday very well, I had to drive 150 miles towing a car on a trailer at 7am through the fresh snow ... not a fun journey!
