 The park has an area where lots of blue herons come to nest. The rounded things on this tree are nests, and a few birds are visible. The lighting on the original was pretty bad due to the brightness of the sky, so I played around a lot with this (including making it a negative image), and liked the way the pattern turned out here.

It does show off the nests well, and yep, I can see a few herons in there.
