I love the clean crispness of this shot, the light pastels of the image are refreshing to the minds palette. I think the composition is pleasing and flows well.
With that being said, DPC voters like bright colors. There is also no WOW factor here. Its a pleasant photo, but not the sort of thing that will win ribbons on DPC. I see this getting a 6.2. |

Steve, I really like it...and for being handheld at 1/60 I think it's plenty sharp. What I like about it...it's clean, well composed and the angle really works. I like the detail and texture in the brown sticks (I don't know what else to call them). The glass is really pretty and inviting, but its presence doesn't overpower the main dish. Amazingly, there is a lot on the table but you know who the star is...and that's the point.
Only knit pick I have...and this is cause I looked at it a whole lot longer than our normal speed voters...the dark triangle at the top left side is a bit distracting.
Looks really tasty to me...was it good? I'd give this easily 7-8! Now, I know I need to really step up my game on this one!! Well done. |
