 This didn't quite come out how I saw it in my mind when I shot it. I had to work hard to get her a bit isolated from the background, but considering I was just shooting for fun and nothing else, it turned out OK.

created a duplicate later in multiply mode & masked out the parts I wanted lighter. Lots of dodging/burning around her, slight black vignette & vignette blur.

This is superb processing! I wish I could take lessons from you. The bench and your little girl really pop, and the background is interesting as well.

This is really cute and the processing brings her out well. I think this would also work with a much tighter crop, too. She seems very intent on her activity!
