| Why is this an odd tree...'coz of no leafs (its natural) or 'coz its single? |

| It's a little overexposed IMHO. You could have tried underexposing and then using a shadow/highlights tool when post processing to bring the details of the tree out |

| a tangle of branches, a chain for some unknown purpose, a bright and many colored sky - the light seems to play nicely on the bark, but the image seems too static and does not easily convey odd to me |
