Thanks for all the comments! I know that the clouds were overexposed (the sun was right behind the top of the pole), but I thought it 'worked', especially in contrast to the deep focus and the dark earth tones of the pole. I'll try it again with a late afternoon sun and puffy clouds to see what that does. Thanks again!

Blown out clouds are a bit distracting, but the texture of the pole is very interesting. |

It feels as if you almost crawled inside this post to get a shot like this. Very good.
Also it is too easy to overexpose the sky. You haven't. |

too words- polorizing filter. would bring out the blue of the sun ect... other than that good shot. K |

while the pole is nicely exposed, the clouds are quite overexposed. nice choice of perspective too. |

I think your sky is too over exposed, and I'm not sure why, but I kind of like it. |
