 Watermelon landing in a pond. The targets are about 6 ft square, and 1/4 mile from our cannon.
Into the sun with Manual focus Nikkor 300/4.5 ED IF.
I thought about putting this one in the "Water III" challenge, but figured that it would get 2's and 3's because no one would understand it.

It's a cool shot Waddy. A good choice not to submit it into the challenge as most folks would have no idea what it is without your notes. That being said, your notes make this an awesome capture!

Oh, me thinks you have too much fun at your gatherings :-) This is very cool! Actually, the splash rather resembles a spiral galaxy with its bright core and curved arms of stars; it is setting below the horizon...
