The color noise really didn't bother me during voting although, now that I've read the comments and I'm looking for it, I agree that the shot would be a bit stronger without it. Still...this shot is way underrated. Very nice. From one of your nine 8's.

Thank you very much for this helpful comment. Would like to hear the alternative methods, especially ones not using PS. The noise (&/or grain?) is usually a result of too tight a crop or a boost in saturation and something I always notice and dislike.

I just don't feel a connection here. I see a lot of boken and a plain of water with some nice texture and reflections. But not enough to hold my attention. Seems that your picture has a far amount of noise.
