This is a view straight up an apple blossom tree (with blossoms!). I shot this blind, by the way, to get a really low POV; this tree wasn't more than fifteen feet tall.
Admittedly, I did a lot with saturation and color balance to milk some of the more subtle colors out of this. Nothing too far out though and nothing inconsistent with what some folks did in the first challenge.
Convert from RAW. Then in PSP X2, crop, negative image, HSL, color balance with lots of fine tuning, curves, HPS (overlay), resize, noise removal, JPG. |

Nice abstract. The cold blue and icy sharp look of the tree trunk is what makes this one for me.
I agree with bobonacus - too many ones.

| I like the colours and the abstractness of the image but I expect the abstractness is what cost you votes, I think thats what cost me though I only got one comment! .... 7 1's is really harsh though |
