I'd taken a few pictures of litter bins that day with everything placed nicely inside. I saw this one and just knew I had to taken a photo.

I like how the building runs up one side of the photo and the railing goes up the other.

Nice use of depth of field. Nice use of the colors. I wonder about the framing though. And the subject is a bit redundant with the theme. 5/10

I think you took the stuff out of the can just for this photo! - bamaster (7)

This isn't the best shot technically, mainly due to things like the tree impeding the shot and the people that draw the eye away from the central subject. However, those points may be valid, but the pictures message is really loud and clear. Yes, it does make you think 'Lazy – insert expletive here' and therefore the shot holds its own purely from the message side of things. The things I have mentioned don't make this a bad shot - I really like the way you have taken your idea and made it work – but I do feel a change of angle or cropping could have added a little. Keep shooting, this is great work… (9)

Good question! I like your picture, because its not just a photo, but carries a message! It's well done! Just one question - whats the thing on the right side behind the litter box in front of the tree? It's a bit distracting... nevermind, it's a 7... KAOS

Very appropriate title. Picture is well taken too

I think you should have moved around a bit to get the whole word litter in. It would also have got rid of that bench (?) that looks like some sort of strange handle sticking out of the bin. Great idea though.

the vertical line of the tree and the piece of bench sticking out are just a little distracting, maybe you wanted to be on another side.

Yup! Had one of these happening on the "popular fishing spot on crown land" until the Ministry of Natural Resources put a barricade up to prevent people from parking, picnicing, and then dumping their garbage beside the can that nobody was hired to empty! The background appears to be over-exposed, and the garbage can a bit under-exposed. Good composition.

not trying to be rude, but did you pick any of it up?

I think these people got close enough to read that it said litter than they thought ok why not?

Personally I don't think it's laziness but people just don't care! So much waste too. Grayce aka Gracious
