We got an amazing amount of snow today up here in northern Minnesota! It started last night at about 10 p.m. and has not let up hardly at all (except for a few short time slots) and is still blowing hard and snowing now at 9 p.m. a night later. All the snow you see in this photo has come in a 12 hour time slot) overnight from 10 p.m. until this photo was taken at 10 a.m. It is predicted that we may get up to 18 inches.
The conditions were not real great for an HDR today but with the water and sky here there was enough contrast too make use of HDR and to bring out the shadows and highlights in the snow.
