i'm going with the lighter version...there's definitly a loss of texture (I really think we should be able to dodge and burn in basic editing) but dpc memebers seem to have their monitors turned wayyyy down because dark images always tank. we'll see how this turns out, i guess. anything above a 6 is fine with me.

Back to comment: I really love the lighting for this image and how the details in the petals come through. However, the symmetry of this flower really would have benefited from a square crop. Nice job. Bump to a 7
