I agree that the color balance is off, so I will just comment on other aspects of your photo. I really like the composition here, the POV is great. Also your DOF accentuates the beef. |

Your white balance is off for sure. Try two things in camera first...
Use your Auto White Balance, see what happens. There has to be a better match than what you have OR you have conflicting light sources, perhaps. Don't be afraid to shoot at a higher ISO if shooting handheld. If you're using a tripod slow down your shutter speed. |

Make sure your White Balance is on the correct setting. If you have a fluorescent light in your kitchen set your WB to fluorescent. Also you may want to shoot in RAW, that will allow you to adjust your image in processing.
Read this on your camera, it should help you understand some settings and how to take pictures.

Also you might want to use auto color before editing your images.
