Took this while zooming to get a centered, blurred effect. Not sure if it worked well.

I like your B&W conversion, which can be quite tricky with B&W landscapes. I'm not so sure about the zoom, perhaps if the zoom effect were much more it would be a bit stronger.

Well, it certainly looks blurry and zoomed! And, I take it that's what you were after,so I'd say, yeah, it worked. Actually makes me kinda dizzy looking at it.

I think your effect worked nicely. It's subtle, which makes me look at it more to try and figure it out.

I think if you want to get that blurred centered effect I think you really need to commit to it and REALLY zoom. Or at least zoom a bit more. Here it's not quite convincing enough that you intended the result.

I like the post processing. I agree with [thumb]nixter[/thumb] on trying a slower shutter speed. Keep the experiments coming.

I would maybe try a slower shutter speed to get some more blur happening, but I think you're on the right track! : )

I don't mind it - I like the conversion, maybe a bit of dodging and burning in the sky may have brought it out some.

I'm really not seeing a center focused spot. I wouldn't give up though. It's a cool idea and eventually I bet you get a perfect shot out of it.
