 Photographer’s Notes

Obviously this was taken in Seattle from Kerry Park. It was a clear, crisp dawn. The sun was just at the horizon. Mt. Rainier was visible (it rarely is because of all the clouds we get) on the horizon. I ran into a few other photographers while I was there. I was wondering … any DPC folks at Kerry Park Wednesday morning the 2nd?

This subject is often photographed; day and night; in good weather and bad. What I like about this particular take is the curve of the sculpture just defined by the early morning light and the way it frames and isolates two iconic Seattle landmarks. Hope you like it as well.

This edit is legal in Basic Editing … very little post processing was required.

Ohhh, ahhhhh!!! You managed to get Mt. Ranier on a good day and that in itself is worth 3 points!! I love your image of Seattle...it looks just like this on a nice day...all misty feeling.

Seattle Blue would have doen this shot well as a title also. It does appear on my computer to be one shade of blue and could have done with a little more depth into the blues
