 Taken down at the beach near where I live. It was very windy today so good for the kite-boarders. I love the way the negative space is framed by the two kites.

Converted from RAW, layers for levels and curves, USM, resize. Pretty much straight from the camera.

I feel that as the sky is so pale, you needed to have more "subject", so I would have cropped this into "portrait" shape with just the right-hand kite.

I don't really see any cool colors. The red sail is warm, maybe the gray of the shore. I think I'd like to see blues, green, purples.. those are COOL colors. ;~)
