The tree gets lost in this. I wouldn't have seen it except for the title and some looking. Lighting is quite harsh...maybe another time of day (early or late) would be better suited to shoot this location?
I see two faces in the cliff shadows (the lower part). The actual rock face looks like a monkey/gorilla, then where the shadow falls on the left side of the outcrop there is a human profile formed by the shadow. :-D |

| The tree isn't the first thing you see on the picture and therefore I find it odd that you higlight it in the name... But a nice picture! |

| I am sorry but if your title hadn't said lonely tree i wouldn't have seen it also your colours dont pop enough for this challenge |
