Comp is off. If the tiger were more to the left of the frame and cropped just a little tighter at the top, it would have flowed much better. (the Rule of thirds)

Looks like you shot that through a fence, are those cloudy areas the bars?

Nice shot. I love the blur in the background. I just feel like the tiger should either be in the center or to the left, since its head is facing the right.

Cool tiger. I'd like to see it closer, although I realize that was probably not possible, plus, who wants to get close to a tiger!

Perhaps a tighter framing to make the warm colors fill more of the frame might have helped.

An interesting perspective to say the least. It is more customary to have the sharp focus on the face/eyes and allow the rear to fall back out of the field of focus. I suppose given the subject, it is safer to do it this way. Besides, many great photographs are achieved by breaking the expecations. Overall well done. I particularly like the way the lighter grass seems to form a halo around the top of the head. I just hope you aren't getting killed by people who thought the entire photo needed to be composed of warm colors.

A focus shift (or greater DOF) towards his face would have earned a 9+. As it is ...7.
