 Nearly my worst entry. Voters were extremely harsh. The repeating S curve of the planes and the cloud edges didn't work for the theme "curves"? Guess I should have pp'd the heck out of it.

Thanks to the folks that saw the curves!

nearly a year later, I'm still annoyed. how was this a candidate for the brown?

I was looking up the image after your post regarding the triangle composition challenge. Personally I don't know how the voters didn't see the curve. You will notice however that those who stopped by to comment rated this pretty high. Too bad adding a red line wasn't legal...

Is it pixelated? No. Are there blown highlights? No. Is it centered comp? No. Are there curves in the photo? Hmmm, a reverse S curve, overlaying the curved edge of clouds. Nearly the brown ribbon. Back to the blindingly obvious, I suppose.

I can see why some voters had a hard time with this image Lynn. The lateral thinkers would've given you the higher scores....so be pleased that some got it. Personally, I like it....but I didn't vote on this challenge. Please cheer up.

I wonder how you will score with this shot ,it took me a least five seconds to see the curves .Connect the swoopers and there is the curve . Did I see that right ? a 10 for making me work so hard !!!
