Hi from the Critique Club--

This is a tough one for me to critique---definitely outside of my style box. I react negatively to the grain and the overall lack of a focal point. In the context of the challenge, it's one of those images that meets the challenge, but not obvertly. Makes it tough to score when surrounded by 100's of other images with curvy roads, curvy paper, etc.

I wonder if a slightly different color palette would have been good- I find the green/beige to be dischordant. I suspect you shot this with your finished vision in mind and the choices you made with subject matter, composition, and processing were intentional.

It will be interesting to see more of your work.

regards,
Mark

Seems blurry and noisy. Don't know if that is what you were going with.

A nice abstract with very soothing lines. The shapes are pleasing to the viewer. If there was less noise and sharper edges, I think this image could really have popped off the screen.

I think this has potential, but due to the lack of technical quality this doesn't really come to fruition.

Indeed! While I do like grain, I'm not convinced it adds in this case. But I like the rather abstractish nature of the shot.

A bit noisy - was that intentional?
