I gave this a 4 because I feel that the grain (possibly as a result of B&W conversion?) doesn't add to the composition. And that it doesn't seem so dangerous. Plus I think it could use a crop since the negative space doesnt contribute to the photograph. That said, I do like the lines nad texture of the metal. Good luck next time.

This image played a trick on me. When I first looked at it, I saw the right side as the foreground and the left side as the background. The lines on the blade, in my mind, were motion blurs in the background. As such, I was scratching my head trying to figure out what I was looking at. Then all the sudden, the image popped and it made perfect sense. If the illusion is your goal, then job well done. However, to avoid giving that affect (and it's possible that my mind is the only one wired that way) it may have worked better if the background was black and the blade was lit up more.
