Aperture: 5.6

The photo was taken in natural lights!
not much of editing involved except some brightness/contras/shadow tuning using picasa.
The photo was not taken considering the challenge subject but when i saw it i thought i could submit it in patterns.
I am interested in knowing in particular what kind of post processing i should do to make the image more catchy!

I can see natures patterns very clearly in this image. I love the clouds and the sky very much.

Maybe a little over saturated for most of the DPV voters, but I do that, as I like color, and often I get scored down, due to that

Also the textures and patterns on the hill , but feel their is a little to much foreground here, and distracts one from the other areas in this image. Maybe cropping some of the foreground, would have added more appeal to this image. Visually take away part of the bottom area, and a little from the right side, and see the difference it would make.

Again, I hope this helps you, as it is a very appealing landscape with some interesting patterns.

I feel you would have been better concentrating on one of the patterns rather than having lots of them in your image as it's left you without a clear focal interest.

trying to give you the benefit of the doubt here, but this to me really DNMC.

My eyes are drawn right to the tree/bush at the top of the rock, near the center of the shot. If that was your intent...yeah!

great colors & shadows, but maybe if you took this photo for the whole landscape it would be more intresting 8

I would have preferred much more sky with the scaley cloud patterns. Overall nice shot but still lacking that bit of "WOW" factor. 6

yes they are, and the clouds almost perfectly mimic the stones. I'd like to see less of the terrain, though, the pattern there is quite muted.
