This was an image of light pipes (drinking straws actually) taken in my cellar with a small pill shaped lamp at the base. It was an experiment in single source illumination. I used the cellar to make it dark and exposed for 4 seconds.

I feel that in basic editing, shots like yours are very difficult to post process. I would have preferred more detail in the bright areas. The longer you look at the image the more interesting it becomes. 6 , good luck with the voters
