To get the bg more blurred your subject needs to be further away from it and/or you need to shoot more wide open.

great capture, totally fun, from a strictly personal opinion i would like it if the b/g were blurred, or at least smoothed out.
these types of b/g's always strike me as a little 90's (even tho i use them myself LOL)
