 week 10. Did a shoot on myself in my new studio, pictured in a previous week, to see how the lighting worked.

Sadly on a cloudy day there is next to no natural light through our windows so using just that was a bust. I tried to make the camera focus in the low light with me not behind it and it just wasn't working.

So I set up my "lights". Cheap home depot work lamps, one behind me for the wall, and one in front of me. Some shots I put white sheets over it for diffusion... I think I had them on for this one but I'm not sure.

I really like this shot - nice crop and nice attention to detail with the eye make-up picking up the colours of the only visible piece of clothing.
