Working with toddlers is a challenge. Photographing our daughter usually requires two adults to make it happen. This shot was no exception so I must give thanks to my wife.
I pointed one flash at the ceiling to bounce soft light everywhere and pointed a second with a tight grid at just my daughter to make her just a little brighter than the animals. Then we made funny faces and I shot as fast as the flashes would recharge until she lost interest two minutes later.
I usually shoot in RAW but this one was .jpg. That limited my adjustments in Canon's DPP to:
crop
slight brightness -
resize
sharpen
