I'm the bull of this here place
I guard it well indeed
No one enters without permission
Not even young dumb steeds
I survey this fertile ground
On which I do reside
Anyone who would challenge me
Will see my ugly side
I am patient with the bovine gals
They know what I will do
When a trespasser wanders by
Conflict will ensue
I keep to my own in the fields
I dine on grass and hay
Impregnating the lady cows
All the live-long day
There is only one of me
I have won the prize
Chosen to sire the lot of them
Because of my strength and size
So keep yourself away from here
I have a job to do
I got a date with a pretty little heifer
Who just got here, she's new

How cool - love the acidy, grungy processing. Fun story, too. |

One of my absolute favorite picture books because Ferdinand so reminds me of my son, Daniel, who also has such a gentle soul. Love your processing. :) |
