 Took this yesterday after a rain storm. The sun (finally) came out at sunset, leaving a warm glow over the trees, with some remaining dark storm clouds floating by. I liked the feel of the colors, and thought I'd shoot the raindrops with the reflection in them. The shots where the outside world was clear looked really boring since the landscape in the neighborhood is boring, so I went with a shot where the drops were more focused. I have no idea what happened to the colors... they're not accurate to what I saw, but I'm on my laptop and having a harder time editing. So, I went with the colors that were there and fixed up the levels/contrast and dust spots on the window :P

Almost looks like something from out of space but again I really like what I see here..... Awesome patterns and I also like the soft color tones.....

Interesting image. I've noticed weird color casts too in shooting water droplets. Not always, but just on some frames, and I have no idea what causes it. Maybe the light on the background color refracting through the drops. Anwyay, this is a nice subject. At first I didn't like how the light was getting blown in the upper right, but the more I look the more that adds some flow and movement to the image.
