First thing I notice is the landscape orientation, but I'm sure a magazine layout editor could still work with it. You've got close, which is good, but in doing so you've cropped out parts of the dog that could look odd if the shot isnt full frame like it is now. S/he has something in his/her mouth but you cannot see exactly what and so it becomes more of a distraction. The white on the right hand side looks blown, but part of the nose is dark so there is some uneven exposure. There isnt much to see of the left eye as it falls within the dark area so some dodging in a photo editor may help some. |
