A re-enactment at the Elliot Baptist Church, Elliot, ME.

This will get destroyed for the grain/noise/oversharpening, but I don't care anymore. I've begun to realize that I like the heavy grain texture for my photo-journalistic efforts and my religious perspectives tend to embrace that as well.

Hopefully, outside of the challenge someone will see this for what I meant it to be. Predicting a 4.5. I've submitted what I like; not what the voters are likely to consider a ribbon winner.

Not sure what this is (mural? movie?) or how it fits the challenge. Original idea, anyway...

I'm sure the graininess was on purpose, to perhaps add some "age" to the shot. But it is way too harsh for my tastes. I think a matte finish would be better.

I really don't like the noise; I don't know if that was intentional or not.

Do not understand the concept and photograph is badly pixelatted.

Great shot but its so noisy. Try using a diff ISO setting or Noise Ninja (or equivilant software) to reduce the noise.

Not sure what to make of this. Your use of noise doesn't benefit the composition and leaves it very flat.

I'd love to hear the story behind this. Grain works and makes it look like a painting. I wish lighting was a little better on the face.
